Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and financial self-efficacy on the risk credit behavior of Shopee PayLater usage among students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at UIN Suska Riau. The method used in this research is quantitative. The sample determination used the purposive sampling technique with an unknown population size, calculated using Cochran's formula, resulting in a sample size of 96 people. We collected data by distributing questionnaires in the form of a Google Form to the respondents. The results showed that, partially, financial literacy and financial self-efficacy have a
significant positive effect on the risk credit behavior of Shopee PayLater usage among students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at UIN Suska Riau. The influence of financial literacy and financial self-efficacy on the risk credit behavior of Shopee PayLater usage among students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at UIN Suska Riau is 67.2%, with the remaining 32.8% influenced by other variables not examined in this study
