Abstrak
Tujuan Penelitian : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPT Puskesmas Kotabaru Kecamatan Keritang Indragiri Hilir yang berlokasi di Jl. Ahmad Yani, Desa Kotabaru, Kecamatan Kotabaru Seberida, Kecamatan Keritang, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Riau.
Desain/Metodologi/Pendekatan :
Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 52 orang dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh.
Temuan penelitian :
Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa variabel kompetensi (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y), kompetensi (X) melalui motivasi kerja (Z) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja (Y), dan motivasi kerja (Z) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y).
Kontribusi Teoritis/Orisinalitas :
Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa kompetensi dapat meningkatkan kinerja pada Institusi UPT Puskesmas Kotabaru, selain itu masih diperlukan peningkatan kualitas motivasi kerja dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja tenaga medis di UPT Puskesmas Kotabaru Kecamatan Keritang Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir.
Implikasi Praktis/Kebijakan/Sosial :
Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi (X) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y), kompetensi (X) melalui motivasi kerja (Z) tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y), dan motivasi kerja (Z) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y).
Keterbatasan/Implikasi Penelitian :
Penelitian ini hanya mengkaji variabel kompetensi (X) yang mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y), kompetensi (X) melalui motivasi kerja (Z) tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja (Y), dan motivasi kerja (Z) mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja (Y). Kesimpulan yang diambil hanya berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh, sehingga diharapkan adanya penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan metode penelitian yang berbeda, sampel yang lebih luas, serta penggunaan instrumen penelitian yang berbeda dan lebih lengkap.
